Joliet Technologies fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-2 loss to Hooters on Wednesday. Hooters scored on a single by White Visor, a single by Gray, and a double by Blue Hat in the first inning.
The Joliet Technologies struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hooters, giving up 15 runs.
Hooters scored seven runs in the third inning. Joe, White Nike, #9, and Lt Gray all drove in runs in the frame.
John Gierich started the game for Joliet Technologies. He went four innings, allowing 15 runs on 19 hits.
Vince, Troy Perkins, Mark Bew, Justin Gierich, Nick, Gierich, Josh Kelly, and Jim Vidican each collected one hit to lead Joliet Technologies. Joliet Technologies didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jeff Ingram had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
Hooters tallied 19 hits. Blue Hat, BJ, Joe, #9, Lt Gray, Red Visir, and Gray each racked up multiple hits for Hooters.
