The Joliet Technologies struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Delta Sonic, giving up 14 runs.
After Joliet Technologies scored one run in the top of the fifth, Delta Sonic answered with one of their own. Joliet Technologies scored when Sean Stukel singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Delta Sonic then answered when Joe singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
John Gierich led things off on the rubber for Joliet Technologies. He surrendered 14 runs on 19 hits over five and a third innings, striking out one.
Joliet Technologies racked up 12 hits in the game. Mark Bew, Ken Gierich, and Troy Perkins each collected multiple hits for Joliet Technologies. Bew went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Joliet Technologies in hits.
Delta Sonic racked up 19 hits. Ryan, Kyle, Mike, Bobby, Marcos, Jim, and Joe each racked up multiple hits for Delta Sonic. Ryan led Delta Sonic with four hits in four at bats.
