Joliet Technologies Overcomes Delta Sonic In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning
Even though Joliet Technologies gave up three runs in the sixth inning, they still defeated Delta Sonic 7-5 on Wednesday. Delta Sonic’s big inning was driven by singles by Jim, Ryan, and Curtis.
Delta Sonic got on the board in the first inning.
In the top of the third inning, Joliet Technologies tied things up at two when Jeff Ingram tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
After Joliet Technologies scored three runs in the top of the sixth, Delta Sonic answered with three of their own. Joliet Technologies scored when Troy Perkins singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Brandon Falish singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Josh Kelly singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Joliet Technologies pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Pee Wee Toepper singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
John Danaher was the winning pitcher for Joliet Technologies. He lasted seven innings, allowing 14 hits and five runs while walking one.
