Joliet Technologies Drops Game to Delta Sonic After Late Score
Joliet Technologies lost the lead late in an 11-10 defeat to Delta Sonic on Wednesday. The game was tied at ten with Delta Sonic batting in the bottom of the sixth when Brian doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Joliet Technologies collected 15 hits and Delta Sonic had 18 in the high-scoring affair.
Delta Sonic took an early lead in the first inning.
Delta Sonic evened things up at ten in the bottom of the fifth inning when Anthony singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Joliet Technologies notched four runs in the third inning. Joliet Technologies big bats were led by Jim Vidican, Ken Gierich, and Jeff Ingram, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Delta Sonic scored five runs in the fourth inning. Curtis, Brian, Joe, and Nyc all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
