Kelly Collects Four Hits as Joliet Technologies Falls to Longshots Gold<\/p>\n

Josh Kelly<\/a> had four hits, but Joliet Technologies<\/a> fell to Longshots Gold 16-11 on Wednesday. Kelly<\/a> tripled in the first, singled in the third, tripled in the fifth, and tripled in the sixth.<\/p>\n

Despite the loss, Joliet Technologies<\/a> did collect 21 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Longshots Gold had 21 hits on the way to victory.<\/p>\n

Longshots Gold fired up the offense in the first inning. Longshots Gold scored one run when Brett<\/a> singled.<\/p>\n

Longshots Gold evened things up at two in the top of the second inning when John Gierich<\/a> induced Ruben<\/a> to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.<\/p>\n

Longshots Gold pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Teking<\/a> tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Netti<\/a> singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, John<\/a> doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Mark<\/a> singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.<\/p>\n

Joliet Technologies<\/a> scored three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive firepower by Joliet Technologies<\/a> was led by Kelly<\/a>, Mark Bew<\/a>, and Justin Gierich<\/a>, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.<\/p>\n

Gierich<\/a> was on the rubber for Joliet Technologies<\/a>. He went seven innings, allowing 16 runs on 21 hits.<\/p>\n

Joliet Technologies<\/a> totaled 21 hits. Kelly<\/a>, Ken Gierich<\/a>, Gierich<\/a>, Jeff Ingram<\/a>, Jim Vidican<\/a>, and Jake Young<\/a> all managed multiple hits for Joliet Technologies<\/a>.
