Gierich<\/a> tripled in the first, singled in the second, doubled in the third, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both offenses were strong at the plate as Joliet Technologies<\/a> collected 24 hits and Careless Whisper 13 in the high-scoring affair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joliet Technologies<\/a> fired up the offense in the first inning. Dan Steinhouse<\/a> drove in one when he singled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After Careless Whisper scored one run in the top of the fourth, Joliet Technologies<\/a> answered with one of their own. Careless Whisper scored when Rubin<\/a> singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Joliet Technologies<\/a> then answered when Sean Stukel<\/a> grounded out, scoring one run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joliet Technologies<\/a> pulled away for good with six runs in the second inning. In the second Steinhouse<\/a> singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Justin Gierich<\/a> grounded out, scoring one run, John Gierich<\/a> doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Mark Bew<\/a> tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, and Stukel<\/a> singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Gierich<\/a> was the winning pitcher for Joliet Technologies<\/a>. He went six innings, allowing eight runs on 13 hits and striking out one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joliet Technologies<\/a> racked up 24 hits on the day.
